*Douglas Ward, Berlitz Complete Guide to Cruising & Cruise Ships 2001 (2000)
(Weak Points) The open deck space is very limited for the size of the ship and the number of passengers carried, and, sadly, there is no forward observation viewpoint outdoors. There is no wrapround promenade deck outdoors (the only walking space being along the sides of the ship). In fact, there is little contact with the outdoors at all. The sunbathing space is really limited when the ship is full, although with a passenger age range of 50 and above, perhaps this is not quite so crucial. There are too many support pillars in the public rooms that obstruct the sight lines and flow. Inside, the layout is disjointed and takes getting used to. Galley fumes seem to waft constantly over the aft open decks.
